Hello CUTENESS!
Check out these darling bears made with this pattern from Shiny Happy World.
Softies have been on my list of things to make, but it's been years since I've made a stuffed toy and I'm out of practice and no one particular idea was coming to me.
But one day I saw this spotted this little bear pattern on Pinterest and it just had that something, something and I had to make it.
The pattern is simple to follow and just a brief 5-pages. If you are new to sewing, there are links to videos and additional instructions for things like cutting, notching curves, embroidering, and stuffing soft toys.
One of the things that makes sewing things like these so fun and interesting, is there are many quick and simple ways to change the look.
You could stuff the ears and hands, stuff the belly a bit to make it chubby, it can be made from many different fabrics, add a few embellishments, skip stuffing it and applique it to a bag, or ??? I'm sure you'll come up with something special.
The wonky shape gives this bear a lot of personality. It also makes it relaxing to sew since you don't need to worry about making it perfect. They are perfectly imperfect, and so very, very adorable.
Have a nice weekend!
