Here is another zip pouch I made over the weekend. There isn't a pattern (or template pieces) for this pouch, but maybe someday.
For this one I was experimenting with the darts and shape. Some squarish pouches, but with darts at the bottom, have been on my to sew list. The other day I got started, but the first one wasn't as square as I wanted. But now I've made the first one where the shape is what I envisioned :0]
It's also been since the fall of 2006 since I've done any appliqué! I had to look at my etsy sales to see when I sold this pouch with a lily pad appliqued to the front. The heart is made from a print called Child Smile from Lecien.

I'm not sure what the red pin dot print is called. It might be one of Moda's dots.
This pouch is about 6" high x 4.5" wide x 1.5" deep.
The lining is patchwork, which I'm loving making. It's a nice surprise on the inside, uses up some scraps, and is solving the problem of not having enough of any one coordinating print for the lining.
