New Bags of Tiny Scraps

Tiny Quilting Cotton Scraps

For all you scrap lovers out there, two new scrap bags are posted in my etsy shop and ready to be made into something special!  

Both are "tiny scraps" which are petite but perfect for so many things--pincushions, fabric beads, journal embellishments, postage stamp quilts, doll quilts, mending projects, or whatever else you might think to use them for in your crafty adventures.

Other shops on etsy have some excellent scraps to share too! I enjoy browsing for these from time to time and add them in my sewing fabric scraps collection so I can find them again later. Take a look here to see what I've favorited.  

Sample Sale - Spring Bouquet Card Wallet (sold)

The next Sample Sale item is a little Card Wallet. You can make one of these yourself with the Card Wallets pattern. I just used a snap instead of the strap.

Lots of people ask about these snaps and they are size 24 snaps but these particular ones are no longer available. They are metal snaps and came from a company called Snap Source which is no longer in business. But you can search for the packages of snaps and sometimes they'll turn up on etsy or elsewhere.  

The floral fabric used here is called Spring Bouquet and it's always been one of my favorite small scale florals.  It's OOP and no longer available but of course, you can always look to see if you can find it. 

The lining for this wallet is a striped cotton fabric from Robert Kaufman. It's also OOP but I think there might be a cotton stretch (poly) version of this out now.  

Garden Party Grocery Bag (sold)

The next Sample Sale item is a large Grocery Bag in a cotton/linen fabric from Rifle Paper Co's Wildwood collection. It's lined in a red gingham print.

Sample Sale - Patchwork Half Pint Mason Jar Bag (sold)

The next sample sale item is this adorable patchwork bag. This will fit a half pint jar so it's pretty small. Of course, you don't have to use it for a jar and I use this size bag to carry powder, lipgloss, and a few other cosmetics in my purse.

The only problem is the person who created this pattern has been "on break" for many months now so maybe she's not coming back to etsy?  I've noticed it hasn't been available for a long, long time now. I think you can still message her on etsy and maybe she'll get back to you.

Sample Sale - Orchard Grocery Bag (Sold)

A couple more sample sale items are available because it's time for me to move to a new space and of course, I have too much stuff! 

First up is this Grocery Bag in a fun, fruity cotton/linen blend fabric from Cotton + Steel. 

The lining is a dark pink pink gingham.
