The next sample sale item is a denim Grocery Bag lined in the topographic map print from Riley Blake's National Parks collection.
This is the large size in the Grocery Bag pattern and it's made from a very nice dark, dark blue denim fabric.
For the denim bags, I almost always use topstitching thread to give them a hint of some color. It also nicely outlines the handles and top of the bag.
If you are making your own bags and want to do this too, try Sulky's Cotton12 thread. It's about 2x as thick as regular polyester sew-all thread, but still easy to use in your machine. Use a topstitching needle (bigger eye) and make sure the bobbin race is clean.
