Sample Sale - Denim Grocery Bag with Blue Crush Lining (Sold)

Last of the sample sale bags!  This time there are two available.  

These are Grocery Bags made from a 10 ounce dark blue cotton denim. They are very sturdy bag thanks to the medium weight denim.  I have a few like these and they are my go to for canned goods, glass jars, and other heavy stuff.

They are lined in an OOP print called Blue Crush from Dear Stella. 

They are the large size in the pattern.

The topstitching is a heavy, heavy polyester thread called Jeans Stitch (YLI).  I used to stock this thread and might again in 2023 (if I can find it). It's pretty amazing on denim and it's also great for faux Kantha stitching, visible mending, or Sashiko.  It's like a cotton Sashiko thread but the polyester makes it much more durable.

Sample Sale - Tokyo Dreams and Striped Denim Grocery Bag (Sold)

The next sample is a medium Grocery Bag made from an OOP floral fabric from the Tokyo Dreams collection by August Wren for Dear Stella and striped denim.  This one was made using the divided bag mod.  

It's lined in a pink pin dot quilting cotton that is backed with muslin. Thanks to the weighty denim (10 ounce) and the extra interlining, this is a sturdy little bag!

Sample Sale - Denim Grocery Bag with Rhapsody Lining (Sold)

Today is the last day for sample bags!  I'll try to get 3 set up for sale and then I'm ready for a break before we start the new year.

This one is a Grocery Bag made from a 10 ounce dark blue cotton denim. This is a very sturdy bag thanks to the medium weight denim.  I have a few like this one and they are my go to for canned stuff, glass jars, and other heavy stuff.

It's lined in an OOP print call Rhapsody by Sedef Imer for Riley Blake. 

This one is also the large size in the pattern.

The next sample is a medium Grocery Bag made from a patchwork of quilting cotton fabrics foundation pieced to muslin. See this post for more info about making these bags in patchwork. 

The handles are striped denim and the it's lined in apple green gingham from Maywood Studio. The lining is backed with muslin and with all the extra seams from the patchwork, the additional muslin interlining, and denim handles, this is another sturdy little bag!

The next sample is a large Grocery Bag made from an Oxford fabric with Seagull print.  I think this fabric is from Cosmo and I'm pretty sure it is OOP.  

It's lined in a dark blue fabric with white polka dots.
