Today is fabric laundry day and one of the fabrics waiting to be washed is a yard of this Garden Party cotton/linen canvas.
It needs to be washed because I'm ready to make another tote bag like the one above. This one sold in my etsy shop and I'd like to make another.
I've made a bunch of things with this fabric and most have shown up here on the blog and are also shown as examples in the fabric listing. Instead of rehashing the past, let me show you what I'd like to make with this fabric in the future:
The Jess Apron by Bouquet Clothing
This apron is very cute in this fabric! I also like that it is a traditional style apron that ties in the back. Sometime in the last year I made a cross back apron and you know what? I'm not a fan of the cross back! The apron looks good in photos, but it's shapeless and feels very frumpy to wear. It's also real wrestling match to get out of it so the next apron I sew will be one that ties in the back.
