If you are like me, the fabric distributor/manufacturer is one of the most important factors of fabric shopping--especially online. Basically, I want a pretty solid guarantee the fabric is going to be good quality when buying without seeing/feeling it in person.
So I stick to fabrics from companies like Moda, Robert Kaufman, Cotton + Steel, Riley Blake, Michael Miller, Alexander Henry, a handful of others. You probably do too.
But every once is a while a new manufacturer comes along and if the print is right, I'll take a chance. That's what happened with the pretty country floral above from a company called Poppie Cotton and to my delight, the base cloth is as fantastic as the print!
