As I got closer to running out of the Rifle Paper canvas used to make Basket Bags earlier this year (which I also made two more of recently!), I knew I had to have this fabric again.
The print is beautiful, the fabric is amazing, so of course it was a joy to have as an option for my sewing projects.
When I started looking to see who still had yardage available, I learned there are two colorways of this print on cotton/linen blend canvas. Once I saw this brighter version I knew this would be the one this time around.
Here are some things I've made with it so far:
Of course, I had to make a few more Basket Bags in this fabric! These little bags are awesome for storing things and project totes. If you knit, crochet, or embroider on car trips this little bag can sit on the floor next to you. It's machine washable, so toss it in the laundry if it gets dirty.
Then I made this bag. This is Size 4 in the Double Zip Tool Pouches pattern. If I had to pick a favorite size in this pattern, it would be Size 4. All the sizes are useful, but this one is special for me and I think it's because this size is tall enough to hold any of my scissors--even these 10.5" long Fiskars.
It will also hold knitting needles, acrylic templates, and a whole bunch of other crafty tools and notions! P.S. Those scissors will fit in either of the zipper sections.
Now I can't decide whether the next project with this fabric will be a large Grocery Bag or a Messenger Bag. Hopefully I'll get to both before all this gorgeous fabric is gone.
