If you have this pattern, here are two more sizes you can make using this way of sewing and the measurements provided in this post.
This first one is large enough for some versions of the iPad or other tablets computers that are 7.25" x 9.5" and/or notebooks around the same size. Both the notebook and the iPad fit inside and the notebook is 9.75" high, but neither are very thick.
Finished measurements: 7.75" wide x 10.75" high x 1" deep
Measurements for the pattern piece:
- 9.5" wide x 12" tall
- A/B division is at 2.5"
- C divisions are at 1.5"
- 0.75" box bottom
Then this second size can be used as a large clutch, make-up bag, or small carry-all bag for your crochet, knit, or embroidery project. If you don't want to make your own, this one is available for purchase here.
Finished measurements: 13" wide at top x 6" high x 3.75" deep
Measurements for the pattern piece:
- 14" wide x 8.5" tall
- A/B division is at 1.5"
- C divisions are at 3"
- 3.5" box bottom
