You know what's coming this month (besides all the usual November stuff...)??? A new fabric collection designed by Crystal Manning for Moda and it has a bunch of really great prints I think you are going to love!
First off, go here to take a peek at all the fabrics in the Rosa collection. Lots of pretty stuff, huh?
This collection is inspired by "Central American tribal patterns, weaves and embroidery". If you're a fan of Mexican folk embroidery, you'll find these prints are just your type too.
There's a nice range of print sizes from small scale florals up to some of the larger motifs like in 11820 (wow, that one is a beauty!). The world needs more small scale packed floral prints, so thank you Crystal for providing this Flower Patch print to decrease the world wide deficit of tiny flower fabrics.
The Rosa collection is shipping to quilt shops this month. It looks like retailers will receive it around the 22nd.
If you like this collection, make sure to ask about it at your local quilt shop or favorite online fabric store. A couple of them are available pre-sale at a few etsy shops and other online stores are likely offering pre-sale fabric or an email message when the fabrics have arrived.
A few of these prints will probably go really fast--like these swallows--so don't forget to watch for them in stores and get your yardage ASAP. It always hurts a little to miss out on the ones you really love because you thought you'd order it "later", but later was too long!
P.S. The bag shown is the same as this one if you are looking for pattern info.
