Yesterday I finished three bags in this crosshatch textured denim from Art Gallery Fabrics.
I made one of each of the three sizes in the Grocery Bag pattern since I had enough fabric to make them all the same, and since there isn't a photo of all three together, I thought it would be good to get one. Now my challenge is to figure out how to display them and get a decent photo!
This denim fabric is from Art Gallery's The Denim Studio by AGF collection. It's a medium weight denim with nice drape. It would be great for a skirt! The crosshatching must have been done by some sort of acidic process because it smells like chemicals when it's wet. I washed it twice to make sure all the chemicals were gone. It's nice fabric and a unique take on denim, so don't let that put you off. Just make sure to wash it well! I wash everything that's washable, just in case you were wondering.
