Here is one of the projects finished up last week--a denim & floral wristlet.
This bag was made using the Size 2 pattern pieces for the Aster Wristlet pattern. These are extra pattern pieces that came after the original pattern, so they are available separately.
I didn't have a zipper for the inside pocket, which wasn't a problem because one, or both, pockets can be made without the zippers. Just skip the steps to attach the zippers and sew the A pieces together.
I also took about 1/2" off the bottom of the A pieces so there would be a little more room between the top of the pocket and the bottom of D. This isn't necessary, but I felt like I wanted more space there, so I made some.
The exterior fabric is a medium weight denim, and I'm not sure what this floral is, but it is recent. The snaps are size 24 long-prong snaps from Snap Source and the zipper is from Coats in a color called parakeet. The red stitching is YLI Jeans Stitch thread, which I'm out of in red, but white and black are available. All other colors of this amazing thread are sold out for the moment. I'll try to get more soon!
