Sample Sale Cotton Linen Wristlet (Sold Out)
I just finished up this cute little bag this morning, so it's hot off the sewing machine and ready for someone to take home as a sample!
This is a modified version of the Pleated Wristlet. I used the A & C pieces from the Pleated Wristlet pattern and put the zipper at the top, topstitched the pleats using the hot pink Jeans Stitch thread, and boxed the exterior corners as well as the interior corners. It's also smaller overall because a few mistakes were made and I needed to go back and trim (more than once!).
It is 6.75" wide x 5" high x 2.75" deep.
The exterior fabric is a cotton/linen apparel fabric from a few years back. It's amazingly soft and kind of fluffy, which makes it lovely to sew! I've never felt another fabric quite like this one.
The inside is lined in a cotton lawn from Timeless Treasures Darling Clementine collection. This collection is from a few years back so it's out of print (OOP):
