It's time to destash some Grocery Bags! I have made a number of these bags lately, and I'm ready to make more, but first these finished bags need to find new homes.
Let's start with these bags made from colorful striped ticking fabric. There are 3 2 1 of these bags--1 large + 2 1 small.
Each one is lined in the floral print used as the backdrop. This fabric is a cotton lawn that's been in my stash for a few years. Lawn is very durable, but slightly sheer, so I backed it with a layer of muslin. This fabric came from the apparel section, and there isn't any info on the selvedge. The ticking is James Thompson ticking, and it can be found online at Fabric Depot.
