This zip pouch was made using Amy Butler's Sketchbook print and 5" high x 8.5" wide rectangular pieces of fabric, but I modified the top corners so they are the same as the corners in the zipper pouch templates.
The way those corners are drafted helps keep the pouch from bulging out at the sides next to the zipper. If you have the zipper pouch templates, you can trace one of the top corners to modify some of your other pattern pieces.
I made this pouch because I wanted to make this zip pull again to see if it was easier than I remembered. It was not. Maybe I'll try it again and eventually get used to sewing it, but it's not what I'd call fun to sew.
The finished size of this pouch is 6.75" wide x 3.5" high x 1.5" deep.
This pouch has bottom corners like in the Strap Clutch & Pleated Wristlet patterns. I like these corners a lot! They are easy to sew and I think the finished pouch sits up a little better than a box bottom pouch.

This is the Fold Over Zip Wristlet, but without a strap. It is Size 1 from the pattern.
This wonderful dotty fabric is from the School Days collection by Sandy Klop for Moda.
It has two 14mm thin magnetic snaps and pretty blue zipper:
