Camera Case Wristlet Pattern is Back!

This pattern is back!  I've received so many requests for this pattern that it made more sense to rewrite the pattern than to keep telling people it was no longer available.

This was one of my first patterns and after a while the documents need new photos and general updating, which really means it's time to rewrite the entire document.  But it is challenging to motivate yourself to go back and redo work you've already done.  It's also a risk going back instead of going forward with new things.  But because so many people continue to ask about this pattern, I went ahead and rewrote this pattern.

Overall, this is pretty much the same thing as before--same size, same basic idea.  Here are the things I changed:

• New photos
• Pattern pieces are now full size (some were half pieces originally)
• Closure is now 14mm magnetic snaps (was VELCRO)
• The straps are now interfaced
• The cotton batting has been replaced with fusible fleece + a layer of scrap fabric

Sample Sale - Mini Pleated Pouch (Sold)

This is the mini version from the Pleated Pouches pattern.  The mini size is perfect for business cards and will hold quite a lot of them.  It also makes a nice small wallet. 

The flap fabric is Dainty Daisies from Joel Dewberry's Bungalow collection.  The pouch exterior is a pin stripe twill purchased at the Mill End Store 3 or 4 years ago. 

It closes with a 14mm slim magnetic snap and the lining is patchwork:

I've made several of the small size from the Pleated Pouches pattern lately, and plan to move on and make some of the "mini" size ones next. The small one is just so perfect for a big button, so I'm sure I'll come back to it soon.

This one is made from Studio E's Tiny Floral print in pink, and a fantastic cotton/linen fabric purchased at Donna & Toots a few years back. 

The lining is a turquoise leaves print from the Oh Deer! collection by MoMo for Moda.

Made - Zipper Pouch #3

This was made using the #3 template piece from this document.  It is for a special project happening in the fall.

This was made using the #5 pattern piece from the Zipper Pouch templates document.  So it is about 4" x 4" and perfect for a coin purse, card holder, etc.

It is made from chambray, a print called Tiny Floral (?) from Studio E, and a piece of lingerie elastic was used as a dainty detail between the fabrics.

The inside is lined in a pink polka dot print:
