This morning I finished another small Pleated Pouch, so it is available as a sample today. Sold - Thanks! The first half of last week was filled with non-sewing things, so it feels good to get back to making things!
The floral fabric is called Child Smile from Lecien. The pouch is made from Railroad Denim from Robert Kaufman. The button is a pinback button.
The lining is Amy Butler's Full Moon Dots in lime:

This was made using the pattern piece for #2 in the Zipper Pouch Templates. The patchwork technique is the same as the Patchwork Coasters.
The dainty floral print (Tiny Floral by Tea and Sympathy for Studio E) was my color guide piece.
The other side is the Railroad Denim striped fabric used for the strap and one patch along the top.
The lining fabric is a print called Lollipop by Sandy Gervais for Moda:

This is #5 from the Zipper Pouch templates and it has a tiny origami butterfly sewn to the front.
The exterior fabric is called Wind Flowers and the lining is Full Moon dots in lime:

I was supposed to be buying interfacing and fleece ONLY on my most recent trip to the fabric store, but they were out of the ones I normally buy. So I bought this fabric instead!
There isn't any info on the selvedge, but the end of the bolt said it is from QH Textiles. It is really lovely colors and has a unique Tropical/Asian/Vintage look. Another Portlander who saw it in my IG stream said it also comes in a black colorway.
It's very pretty and I'm pleased to have it in my collection, but I still need to solve the interfacing and fleece deficit.
This isn't the first time the fabric store has been out of these staples, so I will solve the problem via other means. Stay tuned...these "other means" might mean I'll have something interesting to share with you very soon!

One is the medium size and the other is the large size from the pattern.
They are both made from the same fabrics--one side is cotton ticking and the other side is a Kokka Japanese cotton fabric from 4 or 5 years ago.
