It only takes about an hour to sew this pouch.  So even if your plane leaves tomorrow, there is still time to stitch up a pretty case for your passport!

Today I Made - Another Big Patchwork Coaster

I have SO many fabric scraps, I could probably make 1000 of these coasters and there would still be scraps left over. 

This one is #10.  It is very bright and cheery. 

Maybe I will make a 1000 eventually.  At the current rate of 1.25 per week, I estimate it will take me just just over 15 years.  Please check back around 2029 or so!

Tall Zip Pouch

This I made a few weeks ago, but I don't think I shared it here. This is intended for an iPad mini, but I'm still working on the width.  The plan is to get back to work on this style pouch again soon. 

A few tweaks to the construction have made a nice difference in how this sews together and how it looks.  The top sides next to the zipper are not caved in, which makes me very happy.  I have been trying for years (off and on) to conquer the collapsed sides and I'm winning!

The fabric at the top is a print from Yuwa and the bottom is turquoise ticking. The zipper is a Coats & Clark polyester zipper in "Parakeet". 

Today I Made - Denim Bow

This denim bow is for the front of a clutch I'm making with these pattern pieces.  Later today I'll finish the clutch.  It has been snowing for 3-days now--which is a lot for Portland(!)--so it's a good time to get some things done.

There isn't a pattern for this bow, but maybe someday...
