My original pattern pieces for this pouch aren't the ideal size for using a magnetic snap closure, so I'm making adjustments to them. In the meantime, that means mistakes are being made! Hahaha...I'm a mistake machine.
This pouch turned out really cute in this Japanese cotton/linen fabric from Yuwa, but the hidden snap is too close to the edge of the flap, and I had to make a detour the top of the snap with the topstitching.
Which is actually a really great save someone else showed me when they did pretty much the same thing with the Idea Pouch and a hidden magnetic snap.
But in my ideal sewing world, this would be topstitched under the snap, so this is available as a sample today. Sold - Thanks!
