Here's another sample ready for someone to take home. Sold - Thanks! A lot of my sewing is pretty methodical and detail oriented, so this is pouch was a chance for me to do some improvisational sewing.
It's made from a striped cotton/linen fabric, and a pink cotton lawn print from the Darling Clementine collection from Timeless Treasures.
The pouch is 7.25" wide x 3.5" high. It would be good for pens, seam rippers, to use as a small clutch, etc.
The exterior is quilted with Quilters Dream "Request" batting, which is super low loft cotton batting. It works well for this type of thing where you want it to look quilted, but not puffy.
It's lined in a green cotton broadcloth:
The zipper is slightly longer on one side, but still fully functional and the mistake is barely noticable.
