Paint By Number Birds Grocery Bag

I've finished up a few things lately, and also started a couple new projects--including a dress that is turning out cute on the outside, and a gigantic mess on the inside. :0] 

Family things have taken the forefront lately, so blogging has been sporadic.  Things are calming down now, so I'm working on getting back in the habit of posting.  It's interesting how quickly the daily routine can change when something comes up.

This Grocery Bag has been so, so close to being done for a few weeks now, and I finally got around to closing the opening and topstitching the top.

This is the medium size from the pattern and the fabric is from Erin Michael's Lush collection for Moda.

Sample Sale - Pink Bailey Bear (Sold)

The Blue Linen Bear has a pink friend also in need of a new home. Re-homed!

This pink powder puff of a bear will make someone very happy. The pink fabric is from Riley Blake (I think...), or it might have been made by unicorns.  It's that cute.

His body is made from a lovely blue linen fabric, and his ears and belly are a yarn dyed cotton fabric from Lecien.

Sample Sale - Pintuck Pouch (Sold)

It is very small: 2" high x 7" wide.  It will still fit a variety of small things--seam rippers, pens, etc.  Here it is with my tiny ruler:

It's made from Chambray shirting fabric and has pintucks along the entire length.  The flower embellishment is made from wool felt, fabric, and a button top brad.

One end has a black plated split ring.  You can add your keys, or use it for storage and hang it up with the ring.

The lining is the same print as the flower.
