Mini Messenger in Turquiose Ticking

It 90 degrees (32 Celsius) here today, and I'm not able to muster the motivation to take pictures of myself wearing these bags.  That probably doesn't seem very hot to some of you, but it is plenty hot for Oregon.  We aren't used to heat or even the sun!  All of June has been grey and cloudy and then suddenly it is hot.

Earlier in the day when it was still only 80 degrees or so, I did take a few photos of the bag I finished yesterday.  This is Size 3 (smallest one) of the extra pieces for the Messenger Bag:

I kept looking at striped fabric in my stash, but wasn't sure which direction the stripes of each section should go.  Eventually, I just started cutting.  It turned out very nice. 

A small tag of the lining fabric is inserted into the side seam for no other than reason than I felt like adding it there.

Sample Sale - Square Pleated Pouch with Eyelet Closure (Sold)

This sample is the square version from the More Pleated Pouches pattern. Sold - Thanks!  The closure is a 1.75" eyelet. 

The exterior is a reproduction of a vintage print.  Sorry, I can't remember the name.  If you know the name of this fabric, please let us know by leaving a comment. 

The pouch is lightly padded with fleece and the lining is the same as the strap.
