Ticking Grocery Bag

I came across some ticking in my stash and thought it would make a nice grocery bag.  Yes, indeed it does! 

The lining is a Kokka print I've had forever, but have rarely had the chance to use.  It has been a challenge to find another fabric that matched well, and there is something a little different about the print/weight of the fabric.  It is a sweet print, but the fabric feels more like a lining fabric.  With the price of Kokka, it can be tough to accept its fate as being lining fabric. 

Oh well, it looks very cute lining this bag!

The inside is cotton lawn and has been lightly quilted.  Here is it shown with my phone for size reference.

Snaps in a Tin + Storage Tins

These snaps now come in a tin with a clear lid!  I thought it would be handy for storage.   

The tin is 2.5" in diameter and 7/8" tall.

I also have the empty tins in sets of three.

They are nice for all those tiny things floating around the sewing room--loose buttons, pieces of hardware, etc.

They are not magnetic, but a magnet could be added to the bottom.  The lid is clear plastic.
