Last month I ordered hidden magnetic snaps from the manufacturer in China and they arrived on Monday. They were supposed to have the vinyl casing, but the ones they sent were plain.
At first I was concerned they would be too hard to work with, but they are actually really great. Without the vinyl casing I could sew in a perfect circle right around the magnet. This is a large Pleated Pouch I made with them. It turned out very nice.
I'm really excited about these! These sew-in "hidden" ones are definitely my favorite magnet closure. I will have to put together some photos to show you how I used them, and talk about why they are so wonderful.
First I have to walk the dogs. Today is sunny and dry. The low-rider doxie won't get dirty!
