Had to make a pouch for this zine...
This book has section for zippers that came in very handy a few weeks ago. I wore a new skirt and then when it came time to take it off, I could NOT get the zipper down. There was a moment where I wondered if it would need to be cut in order to get it off!
Fortunately, it was a little big in the waist and I was able to wiggle it down over my hips. I considered returning the skirt, but didn't really want to because I like it...a lot. So I checked the book and yes indeed there were two options for sticky zippers, so my zipper is no longer sticking.
Besides sticky zippers, the "Fixing a Zipper" section talks about what to do for slippy, stuck, no tab or broken tabs, slider comes off part way, and gaps below the slider.
The pouch is the same idea as the Pleated Pouches. This size isn't in the pattern, but it is the same construction.
