Sample Sale - Small Zip Pocket Pouch [SOLD]

I think I made 12 of these pouches while working on the pattern!   I'm not great at making lots of any one thing, but these are so simple, fast and fun I might make more soon. 

This is the small size.  It is great for cards and being the smallest, it is also the cutest!   The zip pocket on this size is deep enough for business/credit/debit cards. 

I'm going to the PO today and would love to send this to a new home...should it be heading your way?  It would be a nice Christmas/Holiday gift for someone on your list, or keep it for yourself.

New Pattern is Done!

The new pattern for Zip Pocket Pouches is ready to go! 

These are fast and fun to make. I've used a longer zipper than necessary, but this makes them so easy to sew!  There is one zip pocket, plus a pouch behind the pocket. 

Three sizes are included, which makes this my longest pattern with 15 pages total.  The instructions are only 6 pages, but each size has 5 pieces so there are lots of pattern piece pages.   

I have an appointment at noon, so I have to run.  But I'll be back later today to pick the winner for this one.  

Tip for the Sew n' Sharp Needle Sharpening Pad

I just sharpened my machine needle and wanted to share this tip if you also sharpen your needles with the Sew n' Sharp needle sharpening pad: sew through it with thread in your machine (at least a few times in the beginning). 

You can use it without thread, which is what I was doing, but I discovered it gets easier to fit under the foot if you sew with the machine threaded.  I wanted to keep it all neat looking, which is sort of silly.  It is a purple needle sharpening pad that serves a useful purpose.  It doesn't need to look good!
