New Pattern - Pleated Pouches

The pleated pouches pattern is ready!  Three sizes are included--small, tall & large. 

These are really easy and fun to make.  The front is pleated so it expands to hold a variety of things.  The back is flat and all one piece, which makes it easy to slide things in and out. 

Nest them all together for a cute trio.

Couch Sneak Peek

Here is a snippet of how the upholstery project turned out.  I'm working on getting some nice pictures of the entire thing.  First I have to remove Lila, who pretty much lives on the couch, and move it to another wall where there is more even light. 

But before any of that happens, I have to finish this pattern!

QAYG Quilt Almost Done!

I just have to bind this quilt and it is done!  The last couple weeks I have been gradually sewing the blocks together. 

I will share photos when it is bound and complete--probably next week.  

 

New Pattern Coming Soon - Pleated Pouches

I'm working on the pattern for some pleated pouches:

 

They are fun to make and stitch up quickly.  This will be another good one to use up scraps.  The pleats give them room to expand to fit a variety of things, and also add a nice detail to the front. 

I'm trying to get the pattern done before the weekend, but it is supposed to snow here tonight and tomorrow, which could throw me off a few days.

It hardly ever snows here, so when it does the city pretty much shuts down and I probably won't venture out to drive to my studio.  I need to go there to scan the pattern pieces again because I messed up the scan the first two times.

But so far tonight no snow.  I do feel torn between wanting a bit of fluffy white snow and wanting to sew!  We'll see what happens.
